ReplyDeleteIt was multiple factors. Firstly, Karishma never said she loved Abhishek. Abhishek liked her. Karishma said - he proposed her with a ring and she couldn't say no. That did not mean she was very much in love with him. She might have liked him, but might be uncertain over marriage issues.
ReplyDeleteWhat I have heard is that yes, it was Babita, under whose influence Karishma broke engagement. Abhishk wasn't hit those days, and Babita said that her daughter is more successful, and didn't want her to marry a person less successful than her. Secondarily, it maybe the money factor also as Bachan's were going at a downfall or bankruptcy those days. Additionally, Babita and Karishma wanted Abhishek to move out from his parents house and live alone with Karishma. Karishma was not ready to live with in-laws. Abhishek didn't agree to that , and thus what happened, we all know

Lolo cannot hold a candle to Aish. No matter what people troll about Aish, the blogs are always filled about her. Babita never knew what she had in the kapoor khandan, she was a fishwife and nag. Also a cheap golddigger. Neetu who came from very poor background realized the worth of kapoor family, and elevated her status by being a great bahu.
