South actress Trisha Krishnan got engaged to her industrialist fiance Varun Manian at a private ceremony in Chennai. Trisha, who also worked in a Bollywood movie 'Khatta Meetha' in the year 2010, is a big name down south. Her engagement ceremony was graced by the who's who of Southern film industry including Kamal Haasan, Mani Ratnam, Amala Paul and AL Vijay among others.

Malayalam film actors Fahad Fazil and Nazriya Nazim tied the knot on Thursday in an intimate ceremony in the outskirts of Thiruvananthapuram.
However, invitations to the ‘nikah’, performed in a convention complex, was limited to relatives, family friends and a few chosen bigwigs from the film industry and politics.
Fahad, son of director-producer Fazil, got engaged to Nazriya in January this year after they grew closer during the shooting of a film.
The couple’s parents have held that the alliance was an arranged marriage after a discussion between both the families.

Reportedly, their friendship which turned to love created a lot of media frenzy because of their popularity.

 Popular actress and Television anchor Urvashi, who got legally divorced from her ex-husband Manoj K Jayan, gets married again. It was the actress herself who revealed this news to the media through an interview given to a popular Malayalam magazine. Urvashi married Shivaprasad, a close friend of her brother Kamal. Shivan lived around 40 kms away from Urvashi's residence. He was an employee in a construction fiirm in Thiruvananthapuram during those days and now, owns a business in Chennai. Urvashi said that it was Sivan's decison not to make their wedding a public event. He said that he does not wish to be in news and to become a celebrity. Urvashi said that Sivan kept a very good relationship with her family from the very beginning and both of them knew each other well. Urvashi adds that both of them have many things in common. The most common factor among the two is that they are not bothered about their looks, says Urvashi, who is all praise for her new husband Shivaprasad, whom she calls Shivan Chettan. She also says that both of them love travelling and wish to visit pilgrimages very soon. Urvashi says that when she was struggling the worst moments of her life, where she got divorced from her ex-husband Manoj K Jayan, and when she lost the right of keeping her daughter Kunjatta with her (Kunjatta lives with Manoj now), Shivan was the sole support for her in all the crisis. It was Sivan who helped in completing the construction of Urvashi's new house. We wish the newly married couple a very happy and blessed married life.

National Award winning actress Meera Jasmine married engineer Anil John in a church in the state capital Wednesday.

Their marriage was formally registered as per law in front of a sub-registrar at the Kochi home of the actress February 9, but the wedding ceremony took place Wednesday.
