Gautam Gulati emerged as the big winner of the night, beating his housemates by a huge margin. Apparently, Gautam, who made history by getting the highest number of votes in all Bigg Boss history, scored a brilliant 89% whereas Karishma came secong with 6% votes and Pritam third with 5%.

Pleasantly surprised at being declared as the winner of the eighth edition of Bigg Boss, an elated Gautam said, “I cannot believe that I have won! It has been an exceptional journey with plenty of ups and downs but it is an experience that I will cherish for the rest of my life. I am greatly indebted to my family, friends and fans who have supported me throughout my journey on Bigg Boss, and cannot thank them enough. Emerging victorious is like a dream come true and I am now ready for the next phase of my career.”

‘Bigg Boss 8’ Day 86: Upen threatens to kill Gautam

The episode starts with the telecast of a serious fight between Sonali and Ali on the night of Day 85. Sonali finds her cigarettes missing and she raises a hue and cry for them. Praneet discusses the matter with her and shares how even his ciggies went missing a few days back. Sonali suspects Ali for stealing her candies (cigarettes) but Ali swears on his mother to rub off the allegation.

However, when Sonali holds on to her belief and accuses Ali again, he loses his cool and throws off the fragile cutlery on the ground. Sonali refuses to back off from her stand but an enraged Ali is brought under control by Puneet and others.

The next morning, Upen is seen in a frustrated state ready to pick on a fight with anyone. An argument ensues between Dimpy and Upen when the latter refuses to help Ali in cleaning the bedroom. Upen insists on doing the dishes but looking at him sitting idle, Dimpy suggests him to help Ali in cleaning as well. But a moody Upen refuses to take up the work and goes on saying things to Dimpy.

The makers of ‘Bigg Boss 8’ will be extending the series by a month after arriving at a consensus during a recent meeting. This means that the show won’t be ending on January 4 as was decided earlier but will take a month more to wrap-up.

Now, the surprise is that Salman won’t be taking the show forward as (a) his contracts ends on January 4 (b) he has no extra dates for the show as the shoot of his film ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ is demanding his time.

And guess what, ‘Happy New Year’ director Farah Khan has signed the contract with the channel to host the show after Salman quits.

Bigg Boss 8’ Day 66: The App task unites all housemates but Karishma’s ‘make-up’ deal ruins it all!

The day begins from the point where the App task ended on Wednesday.

BB gives Upen and Renee a new chance to recharge the batteries. The task is Upen and Renee have to colour their hair blonde to get a total recharge of 92%. Renee refuses to change her stand and refuses the task. Upen, however, sportingly gets his hair dyed by Diandra.

Due to Upen’s endeavour, the battery gets recharged by 46% and everyone heave a sigh of relief.

Ali becomes the lucky one to avail the benefits of a freshly recharged battery. He chooses a date with his girlfriend Gauri over a chance to cancel the ban on him to compete for captaincy. He says on camera he would love to take the housemates for a ride to hell by choosing the captaincy App but he does not need to be the captain to freak out others.

After Ali, Pritam enters the App room and finds himself between four options: Food – sweets & yummy digestive aid, letters from his mother, Stardom – feedback from his fans and a meeting with his wife Amanjyot.

The day begins with Upen addressing an assembly of all the housemates and clarifying his decision to nominate P3G and Sonali was just as he was duty-bound to pick up the names.

Later, Karishma Tanna visits the confession room to shed a few crocodile tears for preferring her make-up kit over Sushant’s release from slavery on day 43.

At noon, the contestants are given the luxury budget task for the week named as ‘Oonchi Hai Building’. The housemates are divided into two teams – A) Diandra, Karishma, Ali, Arya and Praneet and B) Gautam, Pritam, Puneet, Sushant and Sonali. In the task, team B has to use blocks to make a building and at the same time keep moving a heavy chakki kept in the garden area. Whereas the opponent team has to make attempts to stop the chakki. If the chakki stops moving, the construction work of team B has to be stopped immediately.

The day begins with Diandra whispering bad words about Gautam’s action the previous night, with Upen. Later, we see Gautam and Diandra pulling each other’s leg. Soni tells Puneet and Praneet about everyone’s collective decision to boycott Gautam.

At the breakfast table, Deepshika, Karishma and a few others order Praneet to make tea for them. Praneet accepts their order calmly and indulges in a hush-hush talk with Puneet while doing the work. He tells Puneet that when the right time comes, he will make them all make 50 cups of tea a day. (remember, Praneet and Gautam are supposed to work and live like a servant in BB house)
