It’s better to have a hot and sexy wife, Saif's shockingly honest interview

Saif Ali Khan is a happy man. Married to one of the hottest actresses of B’Town, the actor couldn’t help but say that it’s better to have a hot and sexy wife rather than looking at another woman and say ‘she’s hot’.
Saif, who tied the knot with 10 years younger Kareena Kapoor in 2012, says that it’s nice to be married to someone who is fun, beautiful.
In a very open, heartfelt and no bars interview with Filmfare, when quizzed if older men should marry younger women, the 43-year-old said, “Yeah, I definitely recommend it. It’s also nice to be married to someone who’s fun, beautiful and non-judgemental. All three things.”
“It’s not good to be married and then look at another woman and say she’s hot. It’s better to have a hot and sexy wife. Never have room for regret and never say, ‘Oh, I wish I was married to a beautiful girl.”
Talking about similarities between him and Kareena, he said there are enough, as one can get fed up if there are too many similarities.
When asked how much he has changed in the last couple of years, he very openly said that at his age one starts getting interested in other things apart from sex, booze and rock-n-roll.

“At 40, suddenly, it all comes together. That’s when you realise no more excuses now. You try and be the best you can be. You start getting interested in other things apart from sex, booze and rock-n-roll,” he said.
His views on fidelity, “After 40, when sex stops being the most important thing in your life, you have a chance at building something good. And you don’t want to go mess it up because you’ve taken a long time to build a safe zone. (Laughs) But when you’are 20, 25 or 30…no chance dude.”
Saif was previously married to actress Amrita Singh. They have two kids together – Sara and Ibrahim. Talking about his daughter he said that they do a lot of stuff together – from drinking champagne to watching TV. He mentioned that she made herself the soul of his and Kareena’s wedding.
But when asked about the fears of being the father of a teenager, he said, “There are fears about heartbreaks and there are fears about pregnancy. But more so, only if your children are irresponsible, because then you know your kids can hurt themselves. I was irresponsible. I couldn’t be bothered. I always felt it was someone else’s problem to sort me out. Nothing ever mattered to me. But it matters to Sara.”
“So she’ll party till 5 a.m. at our wedding. But she’ll go to school at 7 a.m. in a rickshaw because she wants to give her exam. She’s driven. Even if she does vodka shots, it’ll be on a holiday. She knows her priorities. She knows what she is doing more than we do. I am not overprotective about her,” he added.
This has got to be one of the most honest interviews by Saif, don't you think?

She will stick to the marriage just for keeps sake and avoid bad name. Or else people will say none of the kapoor ladies kept their marriages. Love is clearly lost here.

I think what's really sad is that he and his current wife keep dragging his kids in to the media spotlight just to prove how 'modern' they are.
Amrita has always maintained dignity and the sad thing is that after struggling for years and appearing to have done a good job of bringing their children up on her own, she now has to witness her ex-husband drag their daughter's name in to his interviews just to prove how 'progressive' he is.
And what is this sudden mission of his and Kareena's to prove that they 'bond' with Saif's children? Amrita doesn't talk about her children for publicity or to project an image of herself as a good mother because everyone knows that she is the one who brought the kids up whilst Saif lived his 'bachelor' lifestyle, behaving as if he had no responsibilities.
Now, in a bid to project a certain image of himself and his current wife, he does not care about the image he is projecting of his daughter or the impact his statements may have on her.
If I was Amrita I would be fuming!

I don’t even know where to begin. He managed to insult his wife, his ex-wife and his daughter in the same interview. He sounds so disgusting and vain! I feel sorry for Kareena because she is married to such a repulsive person. The things he is implying about his ex-wife (that she wasn’t pretty or young and that’s why he had a roaming eye)… wow… unbelievable! Poor Sara… having to read the things her dad say about her. Kareena better watch out... everyone grows old... what will happen then? He moves onto the next girl? Disgusting!
