Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is seen here walking the red carpet at the premiere of the movie 'Deux Jours, Une Nuit'. Dressed in a strapless Cavalli gown, Aishwarya looked gorgeous as always, at the 67th Cannes International Film Festival.
This will be the actress’ 13th consecutive appearance at the international festival. Aishwarya, who was appointed as the brand ambassador of L’Oreal Paris in 2003, made her Cannes debut in 2002.
Though her appearances in the first few years were a fashion disaster, Aishwarya rocked it in 2005 when she walked the red carpet in a Giorgio Armani printed dress.
Cannes 2012 did not end well for Aishwarya. The new mommy was criticised for her weight gain post pregnancy. However, year 2013 blew them off when she donned a Gucci one-shoulder gown on Day 1. What followed next were some even more stunning appearances.
Aishwarya was initially scheduled to walk the red carpet on May 16th. However, due to some unforeseen problems with the airline, her walk was rescheduled to today. Hubby Abhishek Bachchan will also join Aishwarya at Cannes and the two will be attending the amfAR dinner soiree on the 22nd of May.
The 67th Festival de Cannes kick started on May 14 and will continue through May 25.
