Say hello to the new age Silk Smitha in Bollywood's 'The Dirty Picture', a biopic on Silk Smitha's life, where Vidya Balan plays the role of this sex-siren who ruled the roost in Indian film industry for many years and had many controversies to her credit.
Take a sneak-peak of the First Look of this movie that just got out. We must say it oozes sensation and the team has put up their best in bringing back Silk Smitha through Vidya, and they have done quite a good job with that.
The poster showcases Nasseruddin Shah, Tusshar Kapoor wooing Vidya Balan, or do we say Silk Smitha, and Emraan Hashmi in a serious note. The film is directed by Milan Luthria and is co-produced by Ekta Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor.
Although a biopic, the film is not going to focus just on the actress's films and her career but will showcase the tragic events behind screen, throwing light on her lonely and tragic suicide. "It's about loneliness behind stardom", says Ekta Kapoor

ReplyDeleteyes it looks vulgar , but hey Silk smita was like that.. So I think it is going to be a bold movie.. But Vidya is going to nail this character, she is an amazing actress..
ReplyDeleteOh no... I didn't know Emraan was in this movie! Somehow he just screams "B grade" to me and I don't think he can act at all! That's a disappointment, but I am still looking forward to this because of Vidya and because it looks like an interesting story. Vidya's got guts, that's for sure!

Isn't this the kind of blouse Priyanka Chopra wears even when she's going to say hello to school kids? you know.....with the pallu there but never there! or what about Mallika or Malaika's outfits which leave very little to the imagination.
