Rani Mukerji had recently got married to Aditya Chopra after dating him for several years. Though both of them never spoke about their relationship to the media, Rani has come clean on all the controversies surrounding her relation with Adi in an interview given to TOI.
Unlike the general perception that Rani and Adi dated each other for almost 10 years, Rani clarifies that they were in relation only for 3 years though they were friendly much before that. Rani even revealed that they both came close at a time when they were going through one of the lowest phases in life. That is what makes their relation special!
A friendship which began during their lowest phases developed into a special relation. But Rani was never inclined towards his hubby while they were working together. As per Rani, Adi would only talk about work.
So Rani and Aditya started dating each other only when Aditya had divorced Payal Chopra and was not producing any of Rani's movies.
However, rumours were always doing the rounds that Rani was the reason behind Adi-Payal's marriage going kaput. Rani maintains that people behind spreading such malicious rumours had some agenda but now she has wishes and blessings of several people.
Rani's first movie after her marriage will be Mardaani, produced by YRF.
