JLo copied my song - Bappi Lahiri

Bollywood producer Bappi Lahiri has claimed credit for the success of Jennifer Lopez's current UK number one single.

The veteran musician said 'On The Floor' shares distinct similarities with a tune he composed in 1990.

"Jennifer Lopez's new song 'On the Floor' that has a Lambada-sampling, and has become a huge hit, is identical to my song 'Sochna Kya Jo Bhi Hoga Dekha Jayega'," Lahiri said.

"The opening tune is the same. I brought Lambada to India 19 years ago, and she has done it now. The credit goes to me."

A few years ago Lahiri sued producer Dr Dre for using his sample from 'Thoda Resham Lagta Hai' in the track 'Addictive' by Truth Hurts.

No doubt Lahiri will be going at producer 'Red One' who produced the JLO record!

LOL! That's funny. Bappi Lahiri wants the credit but doesn't he know that he actually "took inspiration" from the Brazilian song Lambad?? Lol...does he think JLo will copy him??? Hehehe Bappi plz come out from your Dreamland and pay more attention to your jewelry than your 90's songs.

  3. What a hypocrite!! His songs are all lifted from others and yet he wants to steal some of J.Lo's thunder in order to bring more importance to himself.
