Just like Shahrukh Khan last year, Aamir Khan failed to make it to the TIME 100 Most Influential People in the world list this year. He was one of the nominees.
Dhoni was one of the prominent Indians who made it to the list.

Aishwarya (twice) and A R Rahman (once) are the only people who made it to the list from the Indian Film Industry till now.
Time's description of the player from Ranchi, penned by eminent author Chetan Bhagat, describes Dhoni as someone who is now universally acknowledged as India's best cricket captain ever.
"It is good feeling," admitted Dhoni, ahead of Chennai Super Kings' match against Mumbai Indians at the Wankhede stadium on Friday.
"But I have to try and see if it is true or not, and then prove if I deserve it or not," he added
There are so many Indians on the list. We should celebrate their inclusion as opposed to his exclusion. He is a legend in his own right. Dhoni and the rest of Indians deserve a pat on the back. GOO INDIA!
ReplyDeletefrankly speaking i dont think any btown actor/actress deserves a place in this list. yes, i love srk to death, respect ash,aamir and AR rahman. but no way are they influential. do they have the power to change?? yes, are they utilizing it?? no!!!! thats the big differnce.
ReplyDeleteangelina, is famous and and is also the UN goodwill ambassdor. she has the power to change and she is bringing a change, that has to lauded and she deserves a place in the list.
just delivering hit films or being most popular face of bollywood means u have popularity, but u are nt influential.
aamir did make films like taare zameen par, 3 idiots which can change the face of indian soceity, but that is nt sufficient.evn srk did a film like swades, but ash, wat has she done???
many other indians like Sonia Gandhi, Manmohan Singh, Ratan tata have made it to the list. now if i compare wat these 3 have done and wat ash/rahman have done, i find it very difficult to believe that they made it to top 100.
love Aishwarya. I think she's beautiful and a kind person. But how is she more influential than Aamir who has never made on the list? Can someone explain this to me?
