After months of media speculation, it's official now!
Yash Raj Films is pleased to announce its next project. Directed by Kabir Khan and Produced by Aditya Chopra, the romantic-thriller "EK THA TIGER", stars Salman Khan & Katrina Kaif in the lead roles.
Yash Chopra, speaking about the project, said it was a very happy moment for him. "Everyone knows my association with Salim saab, having worked together on Deewaar, Trishul and Kaala Patthar. It is a very happy moment for me and YRF to have his son Salman with us for the first time. Over the years, Salman has become a very matured and talented actor and both he and the beautiful Katrina have a tremendous connect with their audiences. Combined with Kabir's edgy directorial skills, we can all look forward to a thrilling film. I really loved the script which is based on a story written by Adi and I am sure that the whole team will do an excellent job on this project."
Salman Khan was also honoured to be working with YRF for the first time. He said, “In the past Adi and I have met a few times on various projects but somehow, when Kabir and he came to me with this particular story, we all just knew that this was the one. It is a very ambitious project and will be a challenge for all of us, but that's exactly what makes it such a big draw. Above all this, I’m honoured to be working with Yashji, who has worked so closely with my Dad in the past.”"
The story is by Aditya Chopra and the Screenplay & Dialogues have been written by Kabir Khan and Neelesh Misra. Aseem Mishra, who has worked with Kabir on New York, will be the DOP. The music will be scored by Pritam.
The film starts shooting early July and is slated for a mid-2012 release

ReplyDeletetheir brake up is just media created...n with them not giving it a yes or a no its been tagged as official..they are very much together! salman is the rock in katrinas life..think about it everything that has sprung out of her life in the past 6 years has been because of salman...n no matter what a person is like u cant forget that n let it go...katrina is such a humble n beautiful person inside n out..n i dont ever think she owuld brake up with salman! there is no reason to...they've said in the past that if they even slightly show that they are together people dont leave them alone...n this is just a way to get people to leave them alone...altho i doubt they will after seeing their pairing again
and sareelove...the amount of comments on this post should tell u "why they are coming in a film again"...people just simply love them! we love seeing them together in a film or off screen...so this is literally like christmas not just for their fans but for anyone who knows of bollywood n the salman n katrina saga!
what i want to know is HOW MANY movies does Salman Khan act in in a year? does he finish one movie in three months???!!!

ReplyDeleteI mean think about it: He made her life! He is the reason she got to know about indian culture, movies and got to learn the language, dancing, acting (he provided the teachers). Today she is one of the most succesfull actresses thanks to Salman. She has a house a maid a rocking career....her life is complete....all because of sallu....he has given her a gift he will never be aible to give another woman. So I seriously doubt any other self respecting woman will ever think of marrying this guy.

3) Glad to know it’s no romantic/candy floss film but a romantic thriller. Salman to my knowledge has never done such a film.
4) The title is not one I like so I’m hoping that they change it.
