Malayalam Actor Mukesh Second Marriage with Methil Devika Exclusive Pictures

Malayalam cinema actor Mukesh married to dancer Methil Devika (Age 37) who is well known in Mohiniyattom. The marriage was in at Mukesh’s house at Maradu today. They registered their marriage at Tripunithura sub-registrar office. This was the 2nd marriage of both Mukesh & Devika and each have two children. Mukesh divorced actress Saritha in 2007.


            Currently Methil Devika is the dance teacher of Kerala Kalamandalam. While Mukesh has been the head of Kerala Music & Drama Academy, Methil Devika too was there as a member. It is believed that this has led to form a relationship between them and eventually to marriage.  Devika has won many awards such as ‘Ustad Bismilah Khan Award’.  Devika has choreographed the song ‘Malar manchariyil vandineppol' in VK Prakash's film ‘Karmayogi.

Active in Arts-in-Education and Arts-for-Specific Groups programs providing therapy through Arts for people with mental illnesses

Devdasi National Award for dance, 2010. Awarded by Orissa's Devdasi National Dance Festival Committee in Bhubaneswar.
Ustad Bismillah Khan Yuva Puraskar, 2008. National Award for Mohiniyattam from Kendra Sangeet Natak Akademy in New Delhi.
The Nirod Baran Award, 2000. Awarded by Rabindra Bharati University for outstanding performance in Kuchipudi.
Empanelled artist for SPIC-MACAY (Society for Promotion of Indian Classical Music And Culture Amongst Youth), India.
Empanelled artist for ICCR (Indian Council for Cultural Relations) as a national representative for Mohiniyattam.
Recipient, Junior Research Fellowship for Mohiniyattam.
Outstanding Junior Citizen Award, Chamber of Commerce, Palakkad District, Kerala.
The MA PLY foundation award for contribution to arts and culture, Palakkad District, Kerala.
