Rabbiya releases dead body pics of Jiah, seeks CBI inquiry (Open With Caution)

Jiah Khan ended her life on June 3, by hanging in her Juhu Apartment. However, her family is still trying to come in terms with her loss, it seems.

Jiah's mom Rabbiya had accused her boyfriend Sooraj Pancholi of leading her to commit this tragic act. Sooraj was then arrested and tried for abetment of suicide. After 20 days, Sooraj was released as he was proved 'not guilty'.

However, Jiah's mom Rabbiya is still firm on her belief that there was some sort of foul play involved. She recently released pictures of Jiah Khan's dead body to the media. She sought to Twitter and wrote, "You can fool people but not God look at her expression and injuries."

In her petition, she mentioned that she was shocked to notice prominent injury marks on the body of her daughter. She also wrote that no attempt was made by the Respondent to ascertain the cause of such injuries. Additionally, Rabbiya mentioned that besides ligature marks that occur in death due to hanging, injury marks were noticed on Jiah's face and body. An injury was noticed on the right side of her lips and a mark on her left arm suggested as if someone had held her tightly.

Rabbiya's beliefs to an extent were justified when forensic expert Dr R N Jerajani opined that the depth of ligature marks in Jiah's case was difficult to achieve with a soft material. Jiah had used a muslin 'dupatta' to hang herself on that fateful day. Dr Jerajani further added that the marks on Jiah's neck are not like the ones usually found on the body of a person who hangs self from a ceiling fan. He mentioned in his report that the possibility of strangulation is not ruled out.

"Rabiya feels the investigation was not done properly. If you go by the medical opinion and other evidence, it would indicate something is missing as far as suicide is concerned. Jiah Khan's case is apparently a case of murder," Dinesh Tiwari, who is Rabiya's lawyer, told IANS.
