Players Fails Badly At The Box Office

Directed by duo Abbas-Mustan the thriller experts of bollywood one expected Players to be a rocking ride! Also since their last film was such a big success Race.

However the whole cast of Players badly needed Players to work since their last few films were not so successful, but looks like sadly enough they have add another flop to their list of films.
Box Office India reported : Players has got the year off to a very bad start as collections could not pick up on Saturday after a poor start. The first day collected around 4.60 crore nett and second day is in the same region. It could be 10-15 lakhs more or less when final collections come in but Players needed a 30-40% jump to even have a respectable weekend. The weekend is likely to be 15 crore nett at best.
When it cant get any worse Players shows Drops On Saturday : Players had a marginal drop in collections on Saturday and has grossed 9 crore nett approx in two days. The film has been rejected at the box office.
The Critics haven't been favouring the film either
Players gets thumbs down from critics
Not a good start to 2012 for bollywood! Has anyone here seen the first release of 2012, lets share some audience views on the film!
Players has Abhishek Bachchan, Bobby Deol, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Sonam Kapoor, Bipasha Basu, Sikander Kher and Aftab Shivdasani playing lead roles and was released on 6 January 2012

  1. Oh ya, stay away from Sonam lol. she needs acting and voice-modulation lessons. Maybe she should consider modelling?
