Shah Rukh Khan honoured By UNESCO

Salman Khan might be known for his charitable nature, but it was Shah Rukh Khan who bagged a special award for his kindness at the 20th UNESCO Awards in Germany on November 10. The King Khan became the first Indian to be honoured with this award. And along with the award, he came back with many fond memories of his interaction with Jet Li for his 14-year-old son Aryan, who is a huge fan of the Hollywood action hero.

A source informed Mumbai Mirror, “SRK was asked to be a part of the event in March this year by the Director General of UNESCO. Special UNESCO ambassador Mrs Ohoven sent him the invite as well. However, since the actor was busy with RA.One, the actor couldn't confirm his availability till October.”

“SRK attended the event and he was awarded the Pyramide con Marni award. Humbled with the honour, Shah Rukh was seen signing autographs on the red carpet as well,” added the source.

Shah Rukh Khan was also seen bonding with Hollywood action star Jet Li. “SRK met Jet Li and told him how he and his son were great fans of the star. The stars even partied together after the event.”

Some of the other dignitaries who attended the gala event were Mikhail Gorbacheva, Noami Cambell and Ute Ohoven among others.
