I have watched the Ash posts silently and now is the time I thought I should voice my opinion.
Ash is 8 months pregnant now and she recently made a couple of public appearances at the puja pandals. Ever since the photos were out, I saw a lot of comments here that she is trying hard to conceal her baby bump. It was quite apparent that she was doing so going by the videos that were released. Added to it, the Bachchans did not leave her side and it kind of looked like they were trying to cover her from the media.
So it is very clear that she is definitely trying to stay away from the photogs.
My question is why is this been made a huge debate. I call it huge debate because today I saw a couple of leading Indian dailies talk about the same.
Ash, I know has always been a very private person. This coming from her came as a no surprise to me. So my question to you is shouldn't Ash have any right to privacy given that her pregnancy has become a national topic of discussion?
And since when did hiding a baby bump equal using a surrogate mother? And if it was a surrogate mother, is there anything wrong in it?
I understand Ash is a celeb and so the scrutiny is justified. But dont you think Ash on her part is justified in having some privacy?
Please share your thoughts on this topic and lets not be mean given that this is a very sensitive issue.
Yeah, I know! I really don't care about her or any other celebrities' personal choices for that matter but this is kind of annoying. I mean if you are going to have a baby, be proud of it. Celebrities are like regular human beings in terms that they give birth, have children, gain weight, lose weight, etc. I don't blame the media. If Bacchans were not too anxious to hide her pregnancy, media would make less fuss. As far as evil eye is concerned, it is all BS. There are millions of Hindu mothers who don't believe in this crap. The only thing she would need to save her baby from is her stardom.
ReplyDeleteOh and BTW, with my 2nd child, i had absolutely no bump til 6th month. Went to India for a wedding and my mom refused to believe that I was 6 months preggers. My cousin was huge and she was due a week after me. Guess what...both of ur kids weighed roughly the same :)

ReplyDeleteSOoooo this coming from a mom of 3 kids...my bump looked so different every single time. Around 8th month, you have absolutely no room in ur uterus to accommodate the growing fetus inside and bump invariable gets bigger and seems right below the breast bone. Its not very comfortable at all I tell you. Around 9th month or so the baby's head makes a 180 degree turn ...basically getting g ready to come out...and that when you see the bump getting a little lower. But like i said each time it was different.
So lets not be so stupid in thinking that she is faking her baby bump...this is not a Saas Bahu Serial on Zee TV guys. Nobody does that kind of crap.
Ash wanted to act in Heroine when she was 5 months pregnant. it was a bold, sexy role. that was okay with her.

^^ According to the schedule given to her, the film should have wrapped up at the end of her 5th month. She wanted to complete Heroine before her bump showed. What's with "she suddenly wants privacy"... She has always been a private person.
If she went into hibernation, that is because she had no work to do. She had been resting at home. Didn't she make appearances when she was supposed to? (the French award, the Lux ad shoot, and now Durga Puja). So I don't get the concept of saying she is repelling the media. The same thing happened during her marriage. Did she give any interviews or pose for the photogs? No. Because she is a private person. Has always been one.
Where is she hiding her bump? If she wanted to hide it, why would she even be making so many public appearances? What is your definition of "showing her bump"? Do you guys expect her to bare her stomach or what? Even then "haters" would say that it is made of prosthetic. Some people are just outrageous to see everything in a negative way. Sad people. I feel sorry for them. May god not give them a miserable life the next time, if there is one.
ReplyDeleteWhether it makes sense or not, there will always be umpteen ways to criticize a person, especially if it is a huge superstar like ARB. Criticism comes with the territory. You just got to shrug it off and move on. Just wish the best for Aishwarya's delivery. Hopefully it is safe and pain-free. All the best, Ash!

in kajol's pics you can clearly see the bump.. even though she was wearing anarkali.
