Actress Kavya Madhavan was forced to return home without casting her vote as attempt by her to vote without standing in queue, raised opposition. Kavya tried to cast her vote immediately on her arrival, when a long queue was already there. One among the voters at first registered his dissent and was followed by more people. Kavya stepped out of the booth after the incident and declared that she would not be voting.
