Radhika Apte, who received a lot of appreciation for her performance in the Varun Dhawan starrer 'Badlapur', is currently busy with her next release, Manjhi: The Mountain Man. The movie, which is all set to release on August 21, is based film on the life of Dashrath Manjhi, popularly known as the ‘Mountain Man’, who lived in Gehlaur village, near Gaya, in Bihar. Apparently, Dashrath carved a road through a mountain, for which it took him 22 years. He used only a hammer and chisel for this impossible task. Dashrath thus shortened travel between the Atri and Wazirganj blocks of Gaya town from 55 km to 15 km.
Radhika's next project seems to be as interesting. The Bollywood newbie who is getting to be known as a power house actor, is to star in a movie based on homosexuality. More details of the film and official announcements are yet awaited.
