Shahrukh Khan, Kareena Kapoor and Arjun Rampal at the Ra.One music launch

Expect the unexpected when Shahrukh Khan is in charge that too for his magnum opus Ra.One. It was first of its kind music launch ever to have happened in B-town. Like a glitzy award ceremony, the stage was set for the stars to perform, that too on songs like Chammak Challo. Whoa! nothing gets better than this. Shahrukh Khan even lifted Kareena Kapoor like a superhero while dancing on stage. 

Kareena in her Chammak Challo avatar looked nothing but sexy and voluptuous, and it did come as a surprise when the much leaner Shahrukh picked her up during a dance performance.

Bravo! Later Shahrukh even joked that Kareena has no longer time for him, “yeh aaj kal sirf chote chote Khans ke saath kaam karti hain.” 

Actor Arjun Rampal, who plays villain ‘Ra.One’, also came out from hiding for the music launch. But he was not in his Ra.One look. Must say, Shahrukh has been quite successful in keeping Arjun Rampal’s look under wraps when the entire Ra.One audio was leaked online two days ahead of its music launch just like it happened with the song ‘Chammak Challo’: the unpolished version was available on the net days before its release. 

Shahrukh Khan dedicated the Ra.One album to late filmmaker Yash Johar and CEO of his company Red Chillies Entertainment Bobby Chawla, who is Juhi Chawla’s brother and is in coma since last year. 

The music of the film is scored by the very talented music composers Vishal Dadlani and Shekhar Ravjiani. Shekhar says, “This album is one of our best ever. It’s complete, it’s innovative, its hooky and yet beautiful. It’s grand in every respect, from the kind of songs we have on it, to the collaborations that feature on it, whether with Akon or the Prague Philharmonic Orchestra. We hope everyone who hears it, will love this music as much as we do.”
