After unraveling Ranbir Kapoor’s avatar as the street fighter Johnny Balraj and Anushka Sharma as Rosie Noronha, the makers of the high-octane period drama, ‘Bombay Velvet’, are back with the latest poster of the movie.
The newly released picture of Karan Johar as Kaizad Khambatta features Karan in a never seen before avatar and sporting a mustache. This marks the debut of Karan as an actor in a full fledged role.
The story of Bombay Velvet revolves around Johnny Balraj, who rises from the underbelly of Bombay to become a big shot, and an aspiring jazz singer Rosie. Karan plays the baddie in the movie.
Based on historian Gyan Prakash's book Mumbai Fables, the movie is set in Bombay of the 1960s and will hit the screens on May 15.
