Veena Malik becomes mother of boy, names him Abram Khan

Pakistani actress Veena Malik and her husband Asad Bashir Khan Khattak became parents to a boy here Tuesday. He has been named Abram Khan Khattak.

Veena, who entered showbiz in India via the fourth season of reality show "Bigg Boss" in, delivered her newborn at the Virginia Hospital Center here, a statement said.

She even tweeted: "Alhumdullilah we are blessed with a Baby Boy @iAbramKhan... cute son of Proud father @Asadbashirr."

Khubsoorat , Shashanka Ghosh’s revisionist version of Hrishikesh Mukherjee’s 1980 comedy ,is a decorous yet devilish take on the original material. While the Rathod family where Mili storms in is nothing like the upper middleclass parivaar in Hrishida’s family . In the earlier film the family suffered from a case of matriarchal tyranny.Here the problems in the royal family are a bit more dense and deep. Ghosh weaves across the royal pastiche tenderly cutting through Hrishida’s arcadian concept of tyrannical discipline as was represented by the very wonderful Dina Pathak. Here the stiff upper lipped mother, interestingly played by Dina’s daughter Ratna Pathak Shah, has a serious problem with happiness. To laugh and enjoy makes her feel guilty for reasons that I’d rather not reveal.

This story is just a trailer. You will face the real torcher only after watching Creature 3D after which you will no longer be a common man. Bipasha has looked sad throughout the movie, Imran Abbas Naqvi laso fails to impress and similarly rest of the cast. Songs of the film that sounded average in audio might look gauche in the video. Director Vikram Bhatt thinks the audience is fool and that is why he has tried to sell old story in a new package. 3D effects are also very average. If you have watched this film in theatre then the money that you spent will frighten you till next Friday. Half star to the film for the bravery of the whole team of Creature 3D. After all, it takes days and months to make even a bad film.

Prithviraj and Supriya Welcome a Baby Girl

Popular actor Prithviraj and his wife Supriya have been blessed with a baby girl. Supriya delivered a baby girl at Lakeshore hospital, Ernakulum on 8 September and both mother and the baby are said to be doing well.

Actor Prithviraj shared the news with the world through his Facebook page.

"Blessed with a baby girl", he posted.

An interesting thing about Finding Fanny is that contrary to what you think it is, the film is not a comedy: it has its light moments, with enough scenes where you cannot stop but laugh with the characters. There is a story, of course, and it is naturally that of a goose-chase: for isn’t all fanny-finding, any hunt for skirt, ultimately a great big shot in the dark? But this 93-minute gem isn’t about plot. It is about these wonderfully whimsical characters and about the mood they inhabit. It is about novelistic narration and cinematography that appears tinted by Instagram. And, perhaps more than anything else, it is about English that is as broken as the characters.
