Mallika looked elegant in a pleated blue gown, as she walked the grand red carpet, sashaying the gown to the paparazzi, in her unique style. She completed the look with diamond accessories.

Mallika also walked the red carpet for the premiere of 'Grace Of Monaco' on Day 1 of the international festival. She was also the chief guest at the inauguration of the CII pavillion at Cannes.

Shivan lived around 40 kms away from Urvashi's residence. He was an employee in a construction fiirm in Thiruvananthapuram during those days and now, owns a business in Chennai. Urvashi said that it was Sivan's decison not to make their wedding a public event. He said that he does not wish to be in news and to become a celebrity. Urvashi said that Sivan kept a very good relationship with her family from the very beginning and both of them knew each other well. Urvashi adds that both of them have many things in common. The most common factor among the two is that they are not bothered about their looks, says Urvashi, who is all praise for her new husband Shivaprasad, whom she calls Shivan Chettan. She also says that both of them love travelling and wish to visit pilgrimages very soon. Urvashi says that when she was struggling the worst moments of her life, where she got divorced from her ex-husband Manoj K Jayan, and when she lost the right of keeping her daughter Kunjatta with her (Kunjatta lives with Manoj now), Shivan was the sole support for her in all the crisis. It was Sivan who helped in completing the construction of Urvashi's new house. We wish the newly married couple a very happy and blessed married life.

After wowing the fashion critics on Day 1 and Day 2 at the 67th Cannes Film Festival, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, accompanied by hubby Abhishek Bachchan attended the Cinema Against AIDS amfAR dinner soiree today.

Aishwarya donned a cream gown by Armani Privé and teamed it with Chopard jewelry. Hubby Abhishek went with a desi look sporting a black bandhgala sherwani.

Aishwarya and Abhishek were 'Event Chairs' for the fundraiser which is held every year during this international film festival. The event is known for its glittering guest list, exciting live auction, and for raising millions of dollars towards charity.

The Bachchans were joined by the likes of Jean-Christophe Babin, Kenneth Cole, Heidi Klum, Sharon Stone, John Travolta, and Christopher Woodrow among others. The event boasted of performances by Robin Thicke, Lana del Ray, and Aloe Blacc.
