Catch the new and exciting Bombay Velvet posters!

 It looks like Anurag Kashyap's most ambitious project 'Bombay Velvet' is finally shaping up to the expectations of the filmmaker. Here are two new posters released by the team. The poster features Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Karan Johar.

Ranbir plays street fighter Johnny Balraj in this much awaited flick. He is sporting a messy hairstyle and has also got a small scar on his face. The actor will be seen cage fighting in the movie. Ranbir underwent high intensity boxing coaching to shoot for the part, before and during the shoot of the film in Sri Lanka. He will also be seen flaunting six-pack-abs.

Karan Johar plays Kaizad Khambatta in a never seen before avatar. This marks the debut of Karan as an actor in a full fledged role.

“Bombay Velvet” is the story Johnny Balraj, who rises from the underbelly of Bombay to become a big shot, and an aspiring jazz singer Rosie, played by Anushka Sharma.

Based on historian Gyan Prakash's book Mumbai Fables, the movie is set in Bombay of the 1960s. The movie will hit the screens on May 15.
