Don’t know if I can call Salman a friend: Sonali Bendre

Salman Khan’s baby sister Arpita Khan tied the knot with Ayush Sharma in Hyderabad on November 18. And while the ceremony was graced by many Bollywood celebrities, one of Salman’s co-stars was missing from the wedding.
Salman and Sonali Bendre wooed us with their sizzling chemistry in “Hum Saath Saath Hain”. But the actress was missing from Arpita’s wedding festivities. During a promotional event of "Happy Ending" on Sonali's show "Ajeeb Dasthan Hai Ye", she said that she is not even expecting to be invited as she and Salman are not that close.

We know that Salman's ex-girlfriend Katrina Kaif took an active part in Arpita Khan's wedding when she put in a special request for her make up artist to pitch in when Arpita was left without one at the last minute. It is no wonder then, that Katrina made that trip to Hyderabad to be part of Arpita's grand wedding.
She is clicked here with her 'Ek Tha Tiger' director Kabir Khan, his wife Mini, Karan Johar and Aarti Shetty. Kabir is currently working with Salman in the movie 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan'. He tweeted the picture saying, "Pink faces at the wedding :-)"
However, it seems like Katrina's current boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor was not invited to this one.

Arpita Khan wedding pictures!

The wedding celebrations of Bollywood superstar Salman Khan's sister Arpita Khan with businessman Aayush Sharma began at the Taj Falaknuma hotel here Tuesday evening.
The celebrations kicked off with the 'baraat' at 4.30 p.m. in the heritage hotel located in the old city area.
The 'baraat' included horses and two bands, one from Delhi and one from Hyderabad.
It will be followed by the 'jaimala' and 'phere'. There will be party at night, where Salman and his stepmother Helen will perform. Punjabi singers Mika and Yo Yo Honey Singh will also liven up the party.
The wedding rituals were performed as per Punjabi Hindu traditions.
Salman's father Salim Khan, mother Salma, brothers Arbaaz, Sohail and other family members received the baraat.

Salman Khan's sister Arpita Khan tied the knot with businessman Aayush Sharma on a star-studded Tuesday evening at the Taj Falaknuma hotel in Hyderabad today. Apparently, it was Arpita's dream to wed in a palace and big brother Salman Khan made sure she got just that.
Not only was the decor grand but Arpita also had a special cake with her and Aayush's initials. Apparently, the cake weighed a good 150 Kgs and took 3 whole days to get prepared.

Salman Khan's good buddy Aamir Khan was a part of Arpita Khan's wedding festivities. We also saw him don a Pathani pagdi for the rituals. Here, he is seen posing for the shutterbugs with the newly married couple.
Proud brother Salman Khan also joined them for this picture, which will surely make to the family album.
Arpita and Aayush got married earlier today at the Taj Falaknuma in Hyderabad.

Arpita Khan's big fat wedding: An inside look!

 Salman Khan's little sister Arpita Khan is all set to tie the knot with beau Aayush Sharma on November 18 at the Falaknuma Palace, in Hyderabad. By the looks of it, it is going to be one BIG fat wedding what with the Prime Minister, the President and all the bigwigs of the country set to attend it. But then, the Khans have always been trendsetters, haven't they?
Arpita met Aayush through common friends a couple of years back. The two developed a close friendship which blossomed into love. In 2013, the love birds announced their decision of getting hitched, to family members who accepted their decision with open arms.

We know that Salman Khan is turning the world upside down for his darling sister's wedding. However, what does it feel like, to be marrying the favorite of the Khan brothers and the youngest & most pampered daughter of the Khan-daan.
Aayush spoke about this in an interview with Hindustan Times. He said, "I have my individual ­equation with each of them (Khans). As they are much older, I maintain a relationship of respect and love with all of them. Bhai (Salman) keeps asking me, ‘Are you sure you want to marry my ­sister?’ (Laughs)."
