Friends Forever! Preity shares photo with 'pregnant doll' Rani!

Rani Mukerji and Preity Zinta have been friends for almost past two decades. The two actresses, who have worked together in many films including Har Dil Jo Pyaar Karega, Chori Chori Chupke Chupke, Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna, Veer Zaara among others, even today share a thick bond.

So it was quite natural to see the two ladies bond together at a recently held Diwali bash. Preity and Rani met during Bachchan's Diwali bash and for them it was almost a reunion of sorts. The besties even clicked a picture together which Preity shared on her Instagram.

Rani Mukerji clicked with a Baby Bump

While there has been no direct confirmation from either the Chopras or the Mukerjis (except for Rani‘s sister-in-law, Jyoti, speaking to the press), it turns out that the actress is indeed pregnant :) She was earlier spotted getting a prenatal massage at a hotel in London, and now, she’s been spotted in the city yet again – and a baby bump is clearly visible. Take a look at photos doing the rounds on social media below:

First look poster of Rani Mukerji starrer Mardaani

Rani Mukerji has taken on effervescent roles in the past -- but for the forthcoming entertainer "Mardaani", where the recently married actress essays a police officer's role for the first time, she has shed frills and style to get under the character's skin.

In the Yash Raj Films (YRF) movie, produced by her husband Aditya Chopra, Rani plays Shivani Shivaji Roy, an astute police personnel working in a Mumbai Crime Branch unit.

Newly married Rani Mukerji at Mumbai airport

Newly married Rani Mukerji might have managed to sneak back into the city without getting hounded by the shutterbugs but she couldn't escape being clicked by fans at the Mumbai airport. The actress was on her way back to Mumbai from Italy where she got married to longtime boyfriend Aditya Chopra.
Looks like Rani is learning a thing or two from media shy Aditya who has for years together very tactfully been able to escape media attention! The couple held a reception party at their residence on Sunday night.

New Still From Aiyyaa - "Dream-um Wakeup-um"

Here we have Rani looking all bright and cheery from the "Dream-um Wakeup-um" song. I loved the snippet of this song from the trailer, so I can't wait to see the promo for it!

Movie Stills: Aiyyaa [Rani Mukerji & Prithviraj]

 Storyline:
Aiyya lives with her eccentric family next to a smelly rubbish dump, lost in her dream-like Bollywood fantasy world. She gets a job at an art college where she meets a soul-mate, a buck-toothed Lady GaGa lookalike, and together they go man-hunting. That’s until Aiyya catches the smell of her dream man, follows the scent and finds a hunky Tamil student (superstar Prithviraj), who she stalks; much to his annoyance. At the same time her barely sane parents are arranging her marriage to a good, sensible boy, who loves Marathi art cinema and rose-planting. As her dream hunk mysteriously disappears, Aiyya is torn: should she settle for the rose garden?

First Look Poster of Aiyyaa

Here's the first poster of Rani Mukerji's 'Aiyyaa'.

Apparently, Rani was keen that her mother Krishna Mukerji approves the trailer of Aiyya before it is officially released this week . There is said to be quite a lot of skin show for Rani’s standards in the movie, and so she felt her mother’s ‘yes’ is important.

According to Rani, this is by far the craziest film she has worked on in a fun way. She has played a character like no other she has done before, said a source.

In Aiyya, Rani plays a Marathi girl, who finds a man desirable because he smells good. The male lead is essayed by Malayalam star Prithviraj. Rani is also excited to present to her mother the crazy dreamy world her character Meenaxi lives in the film.

Directed by Sachin Kundalkar and co-produced by Anurag Kashyap and Viacom 18, Aiyya will release October 12th.
