Shah Rukh Khan posed with the birthday girl Gauri Khan at a bash hosted by close friends Sanjay and Maheep Kapoor. The star wife-turned-entrepreneur turned 44 today.

Maheep posted the photograph on her Twitter handle, and wrote, “My beautiful friend ... Happy birthday ..”

The star-wife turned entrepreneur is looking gorgeous in the white halter neck gown that she is wearing for the cover.

Gauri has created a niche for herself in the interior designing industry. She recently launched her own signature line of designs under Dubai-based design house 'The First Ferry'.

 Gauri Khan launched her own signature line of designs under Dubai-based design house 'The First Ferry' at The Oberoi in Dubai, yesterday.

Gauri Khan’s designs will be for high-end luxury clients who are connoisseurs of the finer things in life. Gauri prefers not to limit her creativity to only designing homes but also cafes, restaurants, offices, retail, spas and all other kinds of spaces. Gauri Khan for The First Ferry will also be involved in architecture, landscape design, yacht interiors, the Gauri Khan signature line of furniture and lights and the signature chandelier collection by Gauri Khan.

SRK interviews wife Gauri for The Design Cell

Badshah Shah Rukh Khan interviewed his designer wife Gauri Khan as she launched her décor boutique, The Design Cell, in Mumbai in the month of February.

In the video, SRK can be seen asking his wife about the concept behind the store on camera and how people can buy stuff from there.

After launching the store, Shah Rukh expressed how proud he was of Gauri on microblogging website Twitter.

“Chaotically beautiful. Exquisite.The Design Cell exudes Gauri’s personality. Extremely proud of her. Awesome team too,” he had tweeted then.

 Good friends Gauri Khan and Suzanne Khan have come together to launch a real estate project called Project Naira. They introduced this project at the launch party which was held at socialite Tourani’s plush Emirates Hills home in Dubai. Seen with them at the party were Suzanne's parents, Sanjay and Zarine Khan and brother Zayed Khan with his wife Malaika.
Project Naira is a luxury mansion project in Goa. It will involve 12 luxury villas which will have a limited edition collection of furniture and accessories from Suzanne's The Charcoal Project.
