First Look : Fitoor Movie *ing Aditya Roy Kapur Katrina Kaif and Rekha

UTV Motion Pictures today released the first look of the Abhishek Kapoor directorial, Fitoor. Starring, Aditya Roy Kapur Katrina Kaif and Rekha, the movie is set to release in 2015.

An adaptation of Charles Dickens’ classic, “Great Expectations”, Fitoor is a passionate love saga. The movie s going to be shot across many locations in North India including Kashmir and Delhi, as well as an international destination.

The shooting will star this August. Coming the first look, it does not impress much as its quite apparent that the stars have shot separately for it and been photo shopped together in the still.

Let me know when am getting re-married, asks a miffed Abhishek Bachchan

A tabloid recently reported that all is not well in the Bachchan household. It went far enough to report that Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan were on the brink of a divorce. Apparently, junior Bachchan was not too thrilled to read these rumours. He took to Twitter to make his displeasure known.

"Ok…. So I believe I’m getting divorced. Thanks for letting me know! Will you let me know when I’m getting re-married too? Thanks," tweeted Abhishek.

This was however, not the first time that such rumors made its way to the media. Earlier, there was a buzz that Aishwarya and Abhishek were planning to move out of the Bachchan home. The reason cited was that Aishwarya was not getting on too well with her interfering in-laws. Abhishek had clarified then too, that this news was baseless.

Currently, Aishwarya is enroute to the Cannes Film Festival. The diva was supposed to walk the red carpet today. However, it is still not clear if she will make it, as her flight was delayed due to an air strike.

There is nothing new, story wise, to speak of and it is eventually reduced to a desperately stylised murder mystery with its single dimensionally dysfunctional and ditzy characters, jazzy music, dark glasses and trench coats, random slo-mo action sequences and what have you. But the good thing is, it never pretends to care. Instead, all its energies are expended on telling us how great an actor Himesh Reshammiya is. And that is the only big reveal that’ll strike you as amusing in this whodunit at the end, if shoddy direction, acting and story aren’t your thing.

On the whole, THE XPOSE is a decently-crafted vintage musical-thriller that keeps you guessing about the identity of the murderer all through. An entertaining outing for fans of atypical Bollywood-style murder mysteries.

Singer Ankit Tiwari arrested on rape charge

Bollywood singer Ankit Tiwari was Thursday arrested by Mumbai police on charges of allegedly raping his former girlfriend and remanded to police custody till May 12.
"Ankit has been arrested and presented before the court, which remanded him to police custody till May 12," his lawyer Nagesh Mishra told IANS.
Tiwari's brother Ankur was also arrested but it could not be ascertained whether he has also been charged with rape or with threats to assault the victim.
The victim had met Ankit through a common friend and the alleged rape took place late Wednesday (last) night at her home.
Tiwari said the brothers have alleged a conspiracy by their professional rivals to defame Ankit after the singer achieved nationwide fame with his rendering of songs like “Sun raha hai tu” in the recent hit movie “Aashiqui 2”.
"Ankit has not been in touch with the girl since one year and before that he was in a relationship with her for a couple of years,” said Mishra.
“He has been accused of rape and molestation under sections 376 (rape), 417 (cheating) and 493 (cohabitation by a man deceitfully inducing a belief of lawful marriage) of the IPC (Indian Penal Code)," he added.
