After the sessions court rejected Sooraj's bail plea last week, he has now moved to Bombay High Court for bail.

The sessions court had observed that "Jiah Khan was depressed after having an abortion, she was mentally and physically tortured by Sooraj Pancholi, which pushed her to commit suicide" . The sessions court thus rejected Sooraj's bail application.
