The person in the movie is Mahru Sheikh who also happened to play Kartrina's mom in the movie MBKD. Its not Katrina but she has a striking resemblance to her.
Gupt was shot in 1996-97 which is like 15 years ago.

she really looks like Katrina, doubt she is katrina thou it is hardly to be believed Bobby knew her almost 15 years now, and Salman or any other actor, producers etc, didn't, and especially Deepikas PR or any other contemporaries PR, they would ruined her some 4-5 years ago, when Katrina started her acting carrier
