Madhuri Dixit will now play the role in ‘Heroine’.

There have been strong rumors about Madhur Bhandarkar trying to rope in the Kapoor Gal ever since Aishwarya Rai Bachchan opted out of the Project. Kareena Kapoor was the original choice for this movie but had refused the role because of objections about the smoking and drinking scenes in the film. Madhuri Dixit has sign the dotted lines and is slated to have agreed to Play Heroine.
