The super hero film Zokkomon is an action packed adventure of an ordinary boy who rises from despair and solitude to overcome extraordinary challenges.
Directed by Satyajit Bhatkal who was a part of Lagaan production team and the author of Spirit of Lagaan the film has Darsheel Safary in the lead along with veteran actor Anupam Kher and Manjiri Fadnis.
The music has been composed by Shankar, Ehsaan, Loy and Javed Akhtar has penned the lyrics.
Kunal, played by Darsheel Safary, is an orphaned boy, who discovers how cruel life is when he is abandoned by his heartless uncle. Left to fend for himself, Kunal discovers the hero within and begins his epic journey of adventure and transformation to become Zokkomon. When Kunal is abandoned and attacked in Mumbai, Kitu played by Manjari comes to his rescue. Despite their obvious differences, they find they have a lot in common and that they are both survivors in a tough world. Kitu is protective about her new ‘little brother’. Kunal finally has ‘family’ and Zokkomon has an ally he can trust.
This film is mainly targeted at kids and family audiences. Let's wait and watch to see how it goes.
