Rangrezz Movie Reviews

Here are the movie reviews for Rangrezz:
Ratings:2/5 Review By: Taran Adarsh Site: Bollywood Hungama
RANGREZZ narrates the story of three friends who attempt to unite another friend with his lady-love. A simplistic plot, humble setting and straight-forward storytelling… RANGREZZ arrives without the usual frills and trappings of a masala movie. The story is not path-breaking, but what works -- in the first hour at least -- is the realistic milieu and the age-old philosophy that enduring friendship can overcome all odds, with friends standing by each other through thick and thin. However, the writing in the post-interval portions is just not convincing. On the whole, RANGREZZ has an impressive first half, but loses focus in the post-interval portions. One definitely expected more!

AATMA movie reviews

Here are the reviews for AATMA:
Ratings:2/5 Review By: Taran Adarsh Site: Bollywood Hungama
First things first, AATMA is *not* the quintessential horror film. It's not about a haunted house or a tormented spirit thirsting for vengeance. It has layers. It has supernatural elements. It tackles an abusive relationship. It's about a strong emotional bonding between a mother and child. Primarily, it's the fight between a woman and her dead husband over their child. An interesting concept without doubt, but what comes across on screen is such an anticlimax! On the whole, AATMA stands on a weak script. Besides, there are hardly any scares here. Disappointing!

Akshay Kumar on the cover of Man's World March 2013

Akshay Kumar adorns the cover of Man's World for the March 2013 issue. Akshay, who used to be a chef at one point of time, is seen here holding many kitchen knives. We presume Akshay discusses his culinary skills among other things, in this interview. Should be an interesting read!

Jolly LLB Movie Review

Here are the movie reviews for Jolly LLB:
Ratings:2.5/5 Review By: Rajeev Masand Site: CNN IBN (IBNLive)
Well-intentioned but inconsistent, Jolly LLB, directed by Subhash Kapoor, blends elements of a satire, a thriller, and a courtroom procedural in this intriguing story inspired by the events of the Sanjeev Nanda hit-and-run case of 1999. Kapoor makes some relevant points about society’s apathy towards the poor, the loopholes in our judicial system, and the ease with which the rich often manipulate the truth. But he adopts an over-simplistic approach to the material that is often in conflict with this otherwise promising film. Its heart unquestionably in the right place, Jolly LLB is very watchable, even if it does paint in broad strokes. I’m going with two-and-a-half out of five. Not a bad way to spend an evening.
