Rani Mukerji Calls Ash,Preity,Kajol Old

Actress Rani Mukerji, 32, has raised brows by calling Aishwarya Rai Bachan,Kajol and Preity Zinta much older than her.
"Kajol Contemporaries are Raveena(Tandon) and Karisma ( Kappor). I have just done one film, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (1998) with Kajol , but she is not my contemporary . Also Aishwarya is five years older than me while Preity is four years older than me," she says, adding, " My only contemporaries are Sushmits(Sen) who is two years older than me and Kareena Kappor who is two years younge than me."

    Trying to gain attention by comparing her age with other actresses!Concentrate on your work .although she says that she is 32 ,she doesnot look very young.Ha Ha.....

    Preity looks younger than Rani didn't know she was 4 yr. older than Rani!
    both Rani and Kajol never fit in romantic movies or rom-coms they look odd in those kind of movies maybe because of their personality and that in-your-face kind of attitude they both have.
    Rani is the best and most versatile actress and better than Kareena I'd say but they can't be called as contemporaries coz Rani is senior to Kareena in terms of debut and acting.
    But Rani does look older more like 35+ because the kind of roles she has done are matured! but she is 32 and has a long way to go! she just needs to stay away from those YRFilms which hampered her career.

    ha ha!!!! whom is rani trying to fool?????
    rani was already a star wen kareena debutted!!!! priety,kajol,ash,rani are contemporaries.no denying that.
    its ok if she wants to say she is only 32, but see the no of films she has done. she has been in bollywood for ovr 15 yrs!! and kareena,sush have just been around for just a decade or a bit more.

    Just because Ash looks like an amma now doesn't mean you have to lump everyone into her age bracket. Rani is young and she looks it.
    And Ash fans stop flooding the site with Ash's photos all the time - if nothing new they bring in old photos. How many different postings are needed for the same event!

    She's always been so desperate. Who says stuff like this? Actually naming other actresses? It's really pathetic. Worry about youself and not others. She is the contemporary of Ash and Preity. It's not about age but screen age. Duh.

    NOOO! She is definitely 32 but she probably appears to be older si.ce we've seen her on screen for soo many years starting from back in kuch kuch hota hai till now...so that's why you might think she's 40 by now but she is deff not! She debuted when she was 16 not 25 peopleee!

    I LOVE LOVE LOVE Rani!!!! She is the absolute best!

    She's is right. She always gets compared to losers like plastic Ash and others just because she's better than them even though she's a LOT younger than them.

    Rani can be 15 years all we know she is one of the old actresses still clinging and want to be noticed by all means. You cannot eat your cake and have it Rani. You are old we want new and younger actresses please we are tired of Rani always trying to portray what she is not now she wants to show the world she is young. Go back to your mama's stomach and be born again baby RANI

    Lol, for someone of her star -status , it sounds funny that she is so direct about this actress is so many years older than me, that one's 2 years younger etc,. ...lol, i don't think Preity is going to take kindly to being busted like that. So she is '74 born! Both Preity and Rani look great for being in their 30s
    And stupid Bollywood ageism shouldn't hold them back. If those dumb producers don't hire them, i hope they make their own movies and star in them as 30 somethings. This youth-obsessed culture is so lame, why do all these actors/actresses pretend to be 18 year olds in every bollywood movie. As if life ends after 25.

    Rani is getting really desparate off late. She's undoubtedly a great actress but she lacks the glamour and the personality needed for a "Superstar". She's too short and unsophisticated.
    She became a top Star by fluke due to lack of competition. She had started with a series of flops and unimportant roles. Her first big Hit was Chalte Chalte where she had replaced Aishwarya. Actually both Rani and Preity should thank Aishwarya for giving them a chance to reach the No.1 position although for a very short span of time. Had Shahrukh not broken his two-year deal with Aishwarya..she would have been the heroine of Veerzaara and Chalte Chalte etc.
    Rani is suited more for perfomance oriented roles...she is in the league of Vidya Balan.
