Aamir Khan is the number 1 actor of Bollywood today. As per BoxofficeIndia, he is ranked #1 in india and #2 overseas.
He has proved himself as an actor. His movies spread a message. There is no doubt that he is #1 today.
But unlike other superstars he doesnt have a huge fan following. By fan following I mean the fanatics who go to watch his movie come rain or shine. In my opinion, you need to have these fanatics to make you super successful. Take for example the case of Rajnikanth. His fans watch his movie even if the movies makes no sense. He has a very huge fan following and these fanatics are the ones who throng the theatres and make the cash register ringing.
Salman Khan has them, SRK has them, but Aamir Khan is missing on this front. Google him and you will not find an uptodate fanclub. SRK and Salman on the other hand have way too many fanclubs.
What do you think is the reason for this?. Is it because he is not flamboyant or glamorous?.
Lets discuss the matter without bashing the otherstars.
Aamir is good actor but he does not hav d charm of a superstar..........srk is just charismatic , full of energy he connects well with d audience and d same goes for salman he has a bad man feel to him which ppl like
ReplyDeletethanks for posting this!! First, post that is so so true!! and I think it's because aamir is not that appealing to audiences, like he doesn't have that charm that srk has and that bad boy image sallu has...Aamir just comes across as a boring intellectual!
ReplyDeleteaamir tries too hard to project himself as an intellectual...he is neither a good actor not a good person. on one hand he talks abt world peace on the other he roams around with goons like raj thackeray. he is nothing but a hypocrite. Salman is the best of all the khans.
ReplyDeleteThe fact that his movies are COMMERCIAL and nothing offbeat is proven with the failure of dhobi ghat which was the ONLY genuine offbeat film he ever did.
In the name of experimentation he has only changed his HAIRSTYLES and LOOKS...WOW..all hail the GREATEST ACTOR ever.
Aamir is a visionary and an intellectual. He is obsessed with the quality of work not catering to a certain section of an audience by typecasting himself in the role of lover boy (shahrukh), man/child (salman)
